Scotia Fishing specialise in guided Salmon fishing near Gleneagles. We use a number of locations throughout the Tay system, with the opportunity to fish prime beats on the mighty River Tay, only a short car journey from Gleneagles Hotel.

The River Tay is wold famous for producing the British record rod caught Salmon of 64lb. Caught by Miss Georgina Ballantine back in 1922.

The River Tay record Atlantic Salmon

That special fish remains the rod caught record for the British Isles to this day!

In 2013 the Tay had one of its best seasons for a long time. The cold start to the year seemed to really help the Spring fishing, with many beats on the river breaking their records.
