Atlantic Salmon fishing in Scotland is steeped in years of history and tradition. A day of Salmon fishing with our trained guides is an unforgettable experience.

Under Head Guide Callum Conner , you will learn the history and art of Salmon fishing and Spey casting in Scotland from an experienced and fully qualified SGAIC Scottish Game Angling Instructor endorsed by Loop Tackle Design since 2013.

Don’t worry if you haven’t tried Spey casting before, all of our experienced fishing guides will teach you the basics in no time utilising professional instructional techniques.

You can fish for Salmon using both traditional and modern Spey rods. As well as modern shooting head lines and traditional Spey lines.

We will provide quality Salmon fly fishing tackle; including fly rods and reels from Loop Tackle Design and Salmon flies made in Scotland.

There’s also the possibility to spin/lure fish for Salmon if you wish and when conditions/rules allow. We provide premium spinning gear from Sakura Fishing. Our Head Guide has been an ambassador for this excellent brand since 2013.

Our Scottish Salmon fishing guides will use their experience and watercraft to select the Salmon river that offers you the best chance of catching that “bar of silver”.

When conditions aren’t favourable we can recommend an alternative fishing trip in Scotland on still-water.

SALMON FISHING ITINERARY

Your friendly Salmon fishing guide will collect you from an agreed collection point and take you on a scenic drive to the river of choice.

Upon arrival, refreshments will be offered. You will then be briefed on safety and the equipment you will be using today.

Spey casting tuition will be given by your guide if required.

Fishing will then commence and your attentive fishing guide will be by your side to offer expert advice and one-to-one tuition. You will not be part of a multi trip group.

Home-made Scottish-themed lunches will be provided when guided by our Head Guide only.

Enjoy your lunch with a local dram, gin or craft beer.

Non-alcoholic drinks will be available throughout the day.

Lunch breaks are mandatory when Salmon fishing usually 1 pm – 2 pm depending on the beat.

Afternoon session will commence and your guide will be by your side to offer guidance.

Enjoy a celebratory dram to toast the end of a great day on the river!

Your guide will drop you back at the collection point after fishing.

Full Day Duration – 8 hours approximately.

We operate a 100% catch & release policy with all wild fish.

Prices Start From: £400 for 1 persons with discounts for multiple participants

Please note prices will fluctuate according to rises in daily fishing permit prices.
Permits costs are generally lower in spring and rise towards Summer and Autumn/Fall.
