Scotia Fishing specialise in guided Salmon fishing near Gleneagles. We use a number of locations throughout the Tay system, with the opportunity to fish prime beats on the mighty River Tay, only a short car journey from Gleneagles. The River Tay is famous for producing the British record rod caught Salmon of 64lb, caught by Miss Georgina Ballantine back in 1922.
That special fish remains the rod caught record for the British Isles to this day! 2013 So the Tay have one of it’s best seasons for a long time. The cold start to the year seemed to really help the Spring fishing, with many beats on the river breaking records.
